The Gamified Open Online Course (GOOC) is a gamified learning platform offering structured training modules centered on the core values enshrined in the European Charter of Fundamental Rights: Human Dignity, Freedom, Democracy, Equality, Solidarity, and Justice.

How It Works

• Users must sign up to access the modules. After enrollment, participants can:
• Track their progress through a personalized Student Dashboard.
• View scores and rankings to compare their performance with other learners.
• Earn coins for completing modules, which can be used to unlock rewards and incentives.
  

Course Structure

• Each module is thoughtfully divided into three sub-modules, designed to provide an engaging and comprehensive exploration of the chosen value:
• Theoretical Framework: A detailed exploration of the foundational concepts behind the value.
• Training Module & Pedagogical Tools: Practical teaching strategies, tools, and references for educators to effectively incorporate the value into their lessons.
• Good Practices: Case studies, real-world examples, and success stories showcasing the application of the value in various contexts.
  

Evaluation System

• To reinforce learning and ensure mastery, each sub-module includes a short evaluation consisting of five questions.

• Upon successfully completing the evaluations for two modules, users earn their first badge to recognize their progress and gain coins.
• Completing evaluations for all six modules unlocks the additional badges and coins, rewarding participants as they advance through the course.
  

Final Certification

• At the end of the course, participants will undertake an extra evaluation comprising three questions per module. This serves as the final assessment. Successfully completing this evaluation entitles learners to the Valuebox Certificate, symbolizing their proficiency and dedication to promoting fundamental values in education.
